This policy describes how Pulse (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application and website.

For privacy questions or requests: [email protected]
Information we collect
- Account and profile: email address, display name, and profile photo you choose to upload.
- NFC / Pulse activity: records of taps, saves, and claims associated with your account, including which Pulse object was involved and related mode/intent metadata.
- Approximate location: we collect city-level location (derived from IP address, not precise GPS) associated with tap events, used for aggregate analytics such as understanding where our products are being used.
- Device identifier: a device-level identifier used to help prevent referral fraud (for example, detecting attempts to self-refer using multiple accounts on the same device).
How we use information
- To provide and operate the Pulse service (authentication, profiles, modes, tap routing, and the Save for Later inbox).
- To understand product usage and improve reliability through aggregated analytics.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse of features such as referral rewards.
Service providers
We use trusted third parties to run core infrastructure, including:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage (for example, profile images).
- Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure, including approximate location detection via standard request headers.
- Shopify — order processing and checkout when you purchase physical products, subject to Shopify’s own policies.
Account deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing [email protected] with the subject line “Account Deletion Request,” or by visiting pulserouter.com/delete-account. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Some order and shipping records may be retained as required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes.
Data sales
We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We retain information only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we work to delete or de-identify associated personal data consistent with our technical and legal obligations.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children’s privacy
Pulse is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy in the app or on our website and update the “Last updated” date above.
