This policy describes how Pulse (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application.

Information we collect
- Account and profile: email address, display name, and profile photo you choose to upload.
- NFC / Pulse analytics: records of successful NFC taps associated with your account (for example, which Pulse object was tapped and related intent metadata). We do not collect precise device location for this purpose.
How we use information
- To provide and operate the Pulse service (authentication, profiles, modes, and tap routing).
- To improve reliability and understand product usage through aggregated analytics where applicable.
Service providers
We use trusted third parties to run core infrastructure, including:
- Supabase — authentication, database, file storage (for example profile images), and related backend services.
- Stripe — payment processing when you purchase paid features or subscriptions, subject to Stripe's policies.
Account deletion
You can delete your account directly from within the Pulse app. Deletion is intended to remove your profile and associated app data tied to your account, and to end your ability to sign in with that account once the process completes.
Data sales
We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We retain information only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we work to delete or de-identify associated personal data consistent with our technical and legal obligations.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children’s privacy
Pulse is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy in the app or on our website and update the “Last updated” date above.
